Six skills for social entrepreneurship
Harness the potential of business to
shape our world for future generations.
A three month coaching program to teach you the mindsets, heartsets and practical skills to have a meaningful impact and harness business as a force for positive social and environmental change.
Program sessions run fortnightly on an agreed schedule.
This is for people and businesses who feel:
>> Connected to and / or concerned about social and environmental causes and want to be a part of the solution;
>> Ready for a new way of seeing and experiencing the world, one that feels meaningful, softer, and oriented towards the collective;
>> A desire to meaningfully influence broader systems, networks and community (without having to hustle, be a loud leader or an angry activist);
>> Dissatisfied with the corporate status quo / grind / hustle and know that there’s got to be another way;
>> A pull to ‘be a part of something bigger’ and are looking for ways to start (or continue).
Get clear on how you and your business can shape the world for future generations.
Having spent 15 years working at the intersection of social impact, technology, health and advocacy across Australia, the US and Europe, I have learned that our current business structures, capitalist mindsets and economic systems are increasingly contributing to social inequity and environmental destruction.
Rarely are individuals responsible for this declining personal and planetary health – it is our hierarchical, corporate and colonial systems which are perpetuating vast intersectional inequity and sacrificing long term health and vitality for short term power, productivity and ‘progress’.
However, it is individuals – LIKE YOU – who can change these systems. Individual people can contribute to new ways of being and doing, and slowly move the needle on capitalism towards a fair and just society. This is just as much an internal systems change, as it is external.
Through the process of bringing awareness to our dominant systems and power structures, we can build our personal clarity and individual agency for collective contribution.
This is the remit and potential of social entrepreneurship, of which anyone has the capacity to be or become.
Without the right mindsets, heartsets and practical tools, our business and economic systems will continue to serve a small few, whilst creating vast intersectional injustice and destroying our planetary health.
WE NEED SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP, and PEOPLE LIKE YOU, to help step our way towards new solutions, new systems and to positively shape our world for future generations.

How the program works
Designed to nurture self-reflection, strategic thinking and practical application, these Six Skills for Social Entrepreneurship are essential for building the individual and collective capacity needed to restore long term health, equity and flourishing to our social and environmental ecosystems. The program structure looks like this:
Onboarding questionnaire and self-reflection activity
To begin your learning journey, you’ll complete a few questions to share the context to yourself and your business (introduce yourself to me!), and set your learning intentions and/or business goals.
Six online learning activities, 30 minutes each
For each of the six skills, you’ll receive an online learning activity introducing the concept, sharing case studies and offering reflection exercises. These are designed to build your understanding and relationship with the skill, in preparation for the coaching session.
Six one-on-one coaching sessions, one hour each
We’ll have a 1:1 coaching session to unpack each skill. Held every two weeks, these are facilitated explorations of each skill's meaning, value and how it comes to life emotionally and tangibly for you & your business. All sessions are held via Zoom unless agreed upon prior to sign up.
Insights, reflections and actions
At the end of each session we identify the next steps that feel ready. Following the session, Lucy will follow up with an action plan, customised reflections and insights for you and your business.

This program offers you
>> A way to feel hopeful and empowered about the corporate world and the potential of business, our economy and capitalism.
If you relate to feeling dissatisfied with the grind, the hustle or the hamster wheel – you are not alone. This is a valid and very normal response to the reality of our economy being a huge and powerful system that can be all consuming (or likes to think it can be). By bringing awareness to the influence and systems of our working world, we can shift our relationship with its power and start to do things more on our terms. Terms that are healthier for our bodies, our minds, our ecosystems, our communities and our planet. We can begin to find meaning (and maybe even peace) within the system, as well as outside of it, and by being a part of changing it.
This shift in awareness and relationship can help us show up to our day to day work feeling more engaged, connected and empowered.
>> Carefully curated content that explains the biggest social and environmental challenges of our time.
It’s normal if you feel overwhelmed with all of the challenges in society, as well as the opportunities for change. This can lead to feeling unsure of where to start, focus or head to next. The online learning activities in this program share summaries, themes and solutions for you to consider on both a systemic level, and for individual practical everyday action. These learning activities are designed to guide; spark reflection; and gather knowledge on what, where and how is best for you and your business to have a positive impact.
>> Space to explore unfinished ideas, ask clumsy questions and be in the process of change.
Social entrepreneurship, doing business differently and unpacking systems can be a very new experience. This can bring both excitement for the possibilities, and unease with the change and unknown. Even those who are used to constant newness and change will find it challenging to navigate. In this program, there are no expectations of perfectionism or ‘getting it right’. This program is grounded on the knowledge that all humans - including me and you - are doing their best, living every moment for the first time, and navigating the world to the best of their ability. This facilitated experience aims to provide a kind and gentle space to explore, learn and shift at a pace and in directions that feels good for you.
>> New perspectives, ways of thinking, and being in the world.
By the natural virtue of being alive, we are growing and changing all the time. Sometimes we hit periods where we outgrow ourselves. We feel a bit stuck, cramped or frustrated with our current status quo, and get itchy for something… new.
This program offers multiple and diverse perspectives for ways of seeing, being and thinking about the world. Not all of them will resonate with you, yet they are designed to provide a buffet of choices for you to consider. These new perspectives are particularly in regards to understanding your relationship with capitalism, colonialism and consumerism. Without shame or judgement, we unpack what feels safe and right for you.
>> Self-reflection and self-knowledge.
While this program confidently shares information, wisdom, ideas and teachings – it is presented with an openness that acknowledges there is no single truth, way of being or way of doing. Each person has their own unique fingerprint, footprint on the world, and the blueprint for how they step through the world. This approach means that the participants (you) are positioned as holders of your own unique combination of wisdom, knowledge and answers. Throughout the coaching sessions, you are guided to gain understanding of yourself, your beliefs, your ideas and dreams, your challenges, your capacity to work through challenges, and what next steps feel achievable and enjoyable (!) within the context of your unique skills, resources, desires and needs.
>> Accountability, clarity and a customised roadmap.
Clarity and action are important aspects of social entrepreneurship (and change in general). Together, we ground big-picture thinking, challenges and solutions – with tangible and realistic next steps. We’ll discuss what style of accountability suits you, the pace you need to go, and the support you need for the journey ahead. This includes acknowledging that we ‘cannot solve it all’ and that we have a unique capacity to contribute to specific parts of the connected whole.
Personal outcomes

"Lucy finds shared language and concise ways of representing complex or less traditional ways of thinking and doing things.
Her awareness of the field and deep inner work, stands out. It's not just cerebral; it is lived, breathed, felt, and known deep within her spirit.
Lucy has a new paradigm approach to finding solutions; it is not trying to solve with the same 'expert' energy that got us here, but instead a regenerative, more patient earth knowledge."
– Marike Knight, Founder and Director of Cool Karma Collected
"It is wonderful to see someone with Lucy's extraordinary EQ, business experience, and raw talent focus so purely on helping growing people to change the world.
It was a privilege to work with her. She continually inspired me and our whole team, leading by example with a rare combination of effectiveness and soulfulness."
